The Eastern Project in Dover Heights represents the second collaboration with this repeat client following the successful delivery of their family home in 2024.
Having developed a strong working relationship built on trust and performance, the client engaged us again to deliver the renovation of their apartment with a defined budget spend under a do and charge arrangement.
Design documentation and finishes schedules were provided by Studio Mim, establishing a refined material palette and clear architectural direction for the project.

The works involved a complete strip-out and internal renovation of the Class 2 apartment. With no structural works required, the focus of the project centred on elevating the quality of materials, craftsmanship, and detailing throughout the residence.
As part of the reconfiguration of the layout, the existing large sunroom was converted into a third bedroom, significantly improving the functionality and value of the apartment while maintaining the integrity of the overall design.

A defining feature of the interior is the installation of engineered oak timber flooring laid in a herringbone pattern, creating a sense of movement and visual depth across the apartment while establishing a warm and timeless foundation to the space.

Delivered within the agreed budget framework, the project reflects a collaborative process between builder, designer, and client.
The result is a carefully considered renovation that balances timeless materials with modern functionality, continuing the relationship with a valued repeat client through another successfully executed project.
