The test of an extension is whether a visitor can tell where the old house stops. That depends on floor levels, ceiling heights, roof geometry and how the junction between old and new is detailed.
We build rear extensions, side additions and full ground-floor reconfigurations across Sydney, most often on period homes where the original layout puts the kitchen and living at the darkest end of the house.
Extension work sits on top of an existing structure that was built to different standards. Footings, drainage, slab levels and existing wall condition all have to be assessed before a realistic price exists.
We manage the DA or CDC pathway, coordinate the architect and engineer, and deliver the build under one contract with weekly reporting.
